Derek Youngblood serves as Senior Estimator at Precision Solar Renewables (PSR). He brings over 10 years of estimating and project management experience to the PSR team. He is responsible for managing estimating, business development and overseeing implementation of latest technologies in PSR’s proposals.

Before joining PSR, Derek served as Solar Renewable Estimator at IEA a MasTec Company, where he performed RFP review, vendor RFQs and project plan takeoff responsibilities for the Solar Renewable Sector. Derek managed subcontractor, vendor and EOR proposal requests as well LNTP, Contractor and Change Order pricing components for Renewable EPC projects centered on both subcontracted and self-perform services. This direct management involved approximately 1.3GW of solar EPC construction and 1GW battery storage for EPC construction across the United States. He also owned and operated a landscape and property management company for 7 years.

Derek holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management from Indiana State University of Terre Haute, IN. In his personal time, he loves spending time traveling on vacations and attending local fairs/festivals with his wife Angie of 5 years, his Daughter Emma, and Sons Ethan & Dax.
