COMMISSIONING MANAGER
The Commissioning technician will be directly responsible for completing all commissioning activities performed at assigned solar sites. The Commissioning Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful deployment and operation of the solar energy projects. They will oversee the commissioning process from inception to completion, ensuring that systems are fully operational and meet all technical specifications and safety standards. This position will be instrumental in coordinating with various teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions for the construction of our utility-scale solar power site.

Lead the commissioning process for utility-scale solar projects, including PV systems, inverters, and transformers.
Manage commissioning scopes across multiple projects to include electrical testing and troubleshooting, creating site-specific commissioning schedules, plans, testing documents and start-up procedures.
Collaborate with project managers to develop commissioning plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
Review contracts, subcontracts and project drawing to ensure contracted deliverables are understood, met, and align with internal commissioning requisites.
Manage, oversee, and train a team of commissioning technicians.
Execute, maintain, and enforce Precision Solar Renewables’ safety procedures and protocols.
Maintain commissioning logs and equipment checklists.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field. Equivalent years of experience also accepted.
Proven experience as an Electrical Superintendent, commissioning manager, commissioning technician or equivalent in utility-scale solar and renewable energy.
Familiar with National Electric Code (NEC) requirements.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent project management skills
Must maintain current Electrical licensing for duties per regulations.
Must maintain a good driving record and valid driver’s license.
OSHA 30 certified.
Familiar with Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures
First Aid/CPR certified.
Computer skills, Word, MS, Excel.
REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work outdoors, exposed to the elements.
Able to sit, stand, walk short distances, and climb stairs on an occasional basis.
Able to use hands to grip, lift, handle, carry on a frequent basis; maximum of 40 lbs. lifting.

Solar Field Engineer
The Field Engineer plays a crucial role in the planning, execution and optimization of the installation of Precision Solar Renewables projects. As field engineer, you will apply clean energy technology into application in the field overseeing field data collection and managing project deployments. As a critical bridge between pre-construction and operations, you will work closely with project managers, site supervisors and the construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a full-time exempt position that requires 100% travel.

Conduct site surveys and assessments to evaluate project feasibility.
Set, implement, and maintain schedules and budgets to ensure project completion. Coordinate with subcontractors, service providers, material vendors, and customers to share project updates, set expectations and meet key milestones.
Assist in the preparation of the project execution strategies, schedules and budgets; collaborate with the project management team to develop detailed scopes of work.
Supervise on-site installation processes, ensuring adherence to engineering specifications, safety standards and project timelines.
Perform quality inspections and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to construction teams during installation.
Maintain accurate record of project progress, including daily reports, material inventory, and change orders
Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and customers to facilitate smooth project execution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or a related field preferred. Or equivalent years worked in the field.
2+ years of experience in field engineering or construction management, preferably in the renewables energy sector
Experience with project manager programs such as MS Projects or similar.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Basic understanding of construction techniques, tools and equipment.
Strong understanding of solar power systems and installation techniques.
Strong ability to adapt and problem-solve in dynamic conditions and challenges with permitting, schedule changes and scope of work identification with subcontractors.
Proficiency in engineering software and tools (e.g. AutoCAD).
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Must maintain valid driver’s license.
First Aid/CPR certified or willing to get certification.
OSHA certification or willingness to obtain certification.
Willingness to learn and grow within the renewable energy industry.

QA/QC Technician
The QA/QC Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the solar installations. The QA/QC Technician will work closely with the project management and engineering teams to uphold industry standards, regulatory compliance, and company specifications throughout the construction and operation phase of the projects. The QA/QC Technician will support the project team with field inspections and verifications of civil, mechanical, and electrical tasks completed by Precision Solar Renewables. The QA/QC Technician will report to the HESQ Manager and will spend 85% of their time in the field. The QA/QC Technician must be willing to travel/relocate based on project locations as the project schedules require.

Conduct thorough inspections and audits of all solar projects during various stages of construction and operation.
Prepare and send material requests to PM (or directly to Procurement as agreed with PM).
Oversee EPC Contractor’s QA/QC process specific to piles, racking systems, modules, harness/collection systems, inverters, AC/DC wiring systems, substation, transmission line, fencing, SWPPP and perform daily inspections.
Perform quality control checks on materials, components, and equipment used in solar installations to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
Electronically log, organize, and track all issues/deficiencies found during inspections.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address and mitigating any quality related issues, nonconformities, and corrective actions in a timely manner.
Manage deliveries, inspections, and EPC handling of Precision Solar Renewables supplied equipment.
Manage the punch list and inspection process for efficient project closeout.
Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies relevant to solar energy and QA/QC practices.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, reliability, and quality in solar projects.
Effectively communicate with all members of the team and/or subcontractors as required.
Conduct oneself in a professional manner to ensure adherence to all Precision Solar Renewables policies and procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
2–3-years prior experience in distributed generation or utility scale solar QA/AC.
Ability to perform quality control inspections and create reports on work completed.
Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations applicable to solar projects (e.g. NEC, IEEE, IEC, NABCEP).
Familiarity with CPR, First Aid, voltage procedures, lock out tag out, infrared testing, multi-meters, amp clamps, megohmmeters, and torquing tensioning procedures.
Familiarity with single axis and multi-axis trackers.
Ability to travel and work on remote solar projects.
Self-starter and comfortable in an environment with relatively lean staff.
Willingness to execute extended field assignments.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Plans effectively and establishes courses of actions for self and for others; allocates resources and assigns personnel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
