  • Process payroll for union and non-union employees, including salaried staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and relevant labor agreements.

  • Utilize ADP payroll systems to manage payroll functions, including data entry, calculations, and reporting.

  • Verify and reconcile timesheets, hours worked, and other payroll data.

  • Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and issues from employees and management promptly.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to payroll, taxes, and deductions.

  • Maintain accurate payroll records and generate reports as required for auditing, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance.

  • Collaborate with the HR department to integrate payroll data with employee benefits, deductions, and other compensation-related information.

  • Monitor and stay updated on changes in labor laws, tax regulations, and payroll best practices to ensure compliance and implement necessary changes.

  • Assist in the preparation of year-end reports and tax forms, including W-2s and 1099s.

  • Participate in payroll audits and provide necessary documentation and support.

  • Support the implementation and optimization of payroll systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role, with a strong understanding of payroll processing for both union and non-union employees.

  • Proficiency in ADP payroll systems is required.

  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations and compliance.

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.

  • Certification in Payroll (e.g., CPP) is a plus.
