Lancaster consists of two solar projects, on 197 acre decommissioned landfill, totaling over 12MWdc. Lancaster 1 is is a community solar project with 11,232 modules, while Lancaster 2 is a remote crediting site, which has 12,298 modules.

The projects are connected to the New York State Electric & Gas distribution infrastructure by two different interconnection points. This project helps supports New York’s goal of expanding clean energy access to commercial users and the state’s clean energy target of 6 GW of distributed solar by 2025, and 70% renewable energy by 2030.
